Subformat Registration is a less structured process than user registration. If you to make one of your subformats usable to everyone else, you should write a clear description of their subformat and post it in the Subformats and Programs board. After that, you can post a request here to have the subformat ID added to the Subformat Registry with a link to the documentation.
